A day at the Pumpkin Patch

We visited a local pumpkin patch in Springville and had a lot of fun. Kassia pictured on the left is a ham and loves having her picture taken. Ivan on the other hand is more interested in checking the place out and experiencing everything he can.

Here Ivan is enjoying the straw stack maze. Every now and then I can get him to stop just long enough to get a shot. Most of the time I have to capture him on the run or when he doesn't know I am looking.

I don't think he stopped for more than a couple of seconds the whole time we were there. By the time we left he was pretty tuckered out and ready to go home.

Treasure hunting at a pumpkin stand. I had no idea that he was making a face until I cropped the photo. The face made this shot. Again another one of those "Kodak" moments that could not be rehearsed. Just before this shot he had tried to take a bite out of it.

This photo was taken in the early morning light. I have the camera on a tripod and set the timer, then off I went scurrying to the bridge 30 yards away and posed for this shot with my son (Gary), his wife (Callie), (Kassia) my grand daughter from my other daughter, my wife (Edy), daughter (Shannon), and last of all, yours truly. Thank goodness the sun light was not on my dome or the shot might have been over exposed.
